Mr. Honda's Crazy Critters-小小動物狂想曲
Despite their intimidatingly large size, ball pythons are actually quite docile; tortoises, though burdened with heavy shells, cannot swim; and the cold-blooded bearded dragon is actually quite shy! Under Mr. Honda's guidance, children were able to have close encounters with these animals, their joy and laughter unconcealable. However, their ability to calmly and steadily pet the animals without excessive excitement shows that they have taken Mr. Honda's words to heart!
We are grateful to Mr. Honda from Beitun Campus. He encourages us to actively implement Dr. Jane Goodall's philosophy:"Every individual matters. Every individual has the power to make a difference."
看似巨大恐怖的球蟒其實溫馴；揹著厚重的殼，但其實不會游泳的陸龜；溫度冰冷的鬃獅蜥其實很怕生！透過Mr. Honda的引導，動物與孩子們零距離接觸下，掩不住的開心笑靨，但能冷靜安穩的撫摸動物而不過度興奮，代表孩子們都有把Mr. Honda的話聽進去！
Mr. Honda的成就感來自於發展、培養和增加他人的幸福感，並尊重每位孩子的成長。每一次的分享，就是在他們心中種下深刻的種子的機會！
『孩子是我們最珍貴的資源。』能有機會，讓大家了解到動物不是玩具，抱持尊重的態度與牠們相處。並透過生命課程的體驗，而改變孩子對動物與大自然的看法，是孩子們一生的寶藏。
