Transportation - Car Wash-交通工具─洗車記
This month, our Baby Classes explored a theme of "Transportation". Through various activities such as making 3D models of transportation vehicles likes cars, helicopters and boats using recycled materials, to operating a real rubber raft and learning its safety features, our students not only expanded their knowledge, gross and fine motor skills, but they also developed their social emotional skills by learning how to also take pride and care of your things.
This was demonstrated in the highlight of this theme being a "Baby Car Wash Day." This was such a wonderful and exciting activity where all of our students could get involved to help wash our school bus and even our principal's car. They used sponges, water guns, towels and lots of soapy bubbles!
Through incorporating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of "Sustainable Cities and Communities" our students get the opportunity to explore themes and learn valuable lessons of how things like transportation play a role in our community.
Through these activities we are constantly reminded to incorporate more green energy modes of transportation such as walking, biking, etc. to achieve our sustainable goals in the future.
這個月幼幼班進行了貼近生活的主題「交通工具」。孩子們學習到各種陸海空交通工具，也透過洗車活動學會珍惜的重要性。
活動中，大家一起做了立體的模型交通工具；體驗橡膠筏操作和認識救生衣；利用回收蛋盒製作了可愛的直升機等。
最令小朋友們歡樂的是［洗車日］！除了實際觀察到車子的結構，寶貝們也利用水槍、海綿、抹布和水桶，認真地清洗了每天出勤的娃娃車，當了一回小幫手！
主題課程與（SDGs議題）的「可持續城市和社區」有關聯。孩子們了解了社區與交通工具的運作，提醒了我們，未來的城市和社區需要更多綠色能源出行的方式，如步行、騎自行車等，以達到持續的目標。
