Tornado-龍捲風DIY
Being able to explore the world around you makes life interesting. And teaching kids through Science, not only cultivates a "learning ability" from an early age, but also gradually expands the mysteries of the world through the processes of discovery, exploration and experimentation.
In Lavender Class, we decided to explore Tornadoes as part of our Weather Theme. Our students all became little scientists and learned how to create a "tornado" in a bottle. With simple materials such as plastic bottles, vinegar, water, dishwashing liquid, and food coloring, our students could experiment themselves creating colorful tornadoes.
This activity not only taught them how to make their own tornadoes, but they also practiced their fine motor skills and focus as they had to carefully pour and mix ingredients together without making a mess or spilling it on the floor or tables. Science is really a lot of fun and definitely something our little Lavender students love to do.
生活中到處都是科學，該如何帶小小孩去進入這個有趣科學的世界呢？幼兒科學遊戲主要目的是從小培養「學習力」，藉著發現、探究、實驗、推論等過程，逐步拓展世界的奧妙。讓我們來動手玩玩看科學小實驗吧！
你見過龍捲風嗎？如果沒有，現在趕快來跟著我們變成小小科學家，學習如何在瓶子中製造「龍捲風」。準備的材料非常簡單，包括：醋、水、洗碗精、食用色素、寶特瓶等。首先將水倒入寶特瓶，約3/4滿，再倒入1茶匙的醋與1茶匙的洗碗精。蓋上蓋子之後，將廣口瓶順著圓圈搖晃一會兒，就可以看到瓶子內出現像龍捲風一樣的泡沫在旋轉著。另外，也可以將食用色素倒入瓶子內再加以攪拌，然後重複旋轉寶特瓶的動作，這樣龍捲風就完成了！
透過這樣的實驗孩子創造五顏六色的龍捲風之外，也看到不同元素融合在一起的反應，小小的手試著量取各材料的份量並放入瓶中，也是小肌肉跟專注力的訓練唷！
