We made delicious Yuan-Xiao(Sticky rice balls) together. Through the process of repeatedly dipping the dough in water and constantly shaking the dough, the Yuan-Xiao balls grew bigger and bigger. We really enjoyed these delicious Yuan-Xiao, and loved the heart-warming happiness from making them!

For Chinese new year, we are learning about the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac. We also learn about fun traditional toys and dishes. There you see, that is our Wagor Chinese New Year's Market! Please vote for your favorite item! HOW FUN!

We spend last week making the final preparations for our Book Fair. They are SUPER excited to show you guys what they’ve prepared! Kids had been practicing reading the storybook reading and they are much more confident to read in front of an audience! They had an amazing time these past days and I am very proud of every one of them! 

Christmas is a magical time of year and we went all out at Zhong-Ming campus! Teachers set the tone with morning carols, not one but two Christmas concerts filled the school with festive spirit, as kids sang and danced! It’s the most wonderful time of the year…
We are on the Theme about Family, where our family lives and activities we can do with our families. The students looked at different houses and apartments that we will generally see around our neighborhood. We also looked at different types of houses like igloos, huts, mud houses and float houses.

We briefly explained how the Pilgrims traveled all the way to America on a big ship.The Native Americans came along and said they could help!
In order to thank them for their kindness and help, the Pilgrims invited the Natives Americans to a feast and they celebrated their friendship.

Welcome to the “spooky spectacular” at Zhong Ming Campus!The kids also enjoyed a fun catwalk with their friends! They got a chance to dress up in their Halloween costume and to walk down the catwalk! This is a great way to show off their costumes and to build their confidence walking in front of a crowd!

When arriving at school, YOU smiled at your kids lovingly and confidently sent them into our hallways or handed them to our caring teachers.Magic happens when teachers and parents work together, especially in the most stressful times of our children's lives.

The class learned more about the ocean like why the ocean is salty.
We did a science experiment about salt water and fresh water. We also learned about the ocean zones and made our own ocean zones model using a bottle.
The children were amazed with this simple yet fun experiment.

To celebrate our National Day, we talked about Taiwan and things we love about Taiwan. Then we singed Taiwan’s National Anthem. Although this song is in Chinese, we thought it is important that the children had to understand that every country has its own national anthem.
