Who We Are

In our little classroom, we encouraged kids to observe the friends and what they look like. They used a variety of materials to create collage portraits of themselves. Through this, they learned to talk about the similarities and differences between their own faces and those of their friends, helping them become more familiar with different body parts and facial features.

We also engaged kids to explore their 5 senses with fun activities like feeling paint with their little toes and tasting different flavors with their tiny tongues. At the same time, we introduced them to various colors of sand and objects to help them understand emotions.

 

 

Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes~

 

「老師,鼻子是三角形的嗎!」

「老師,為什麼生氣的時候,眉毛會皺起來?」

「老師,我的朋友的頭髮是捲的,但我的是直的?」

 

在這次「關於我」的主題課程中,我們讓孩子觀察身邊同學的身體外觀,了解差異性,再利用各種材料拼貼出臉與身體,讓孩子熟悉不同的身體及臉部五官不同的位置。

 

除此之外,「情感表達與知覺」也是更了解自己的一種方式!

我們先觀察物品的外表、顏色,聽聽看不同材質的聲音,聞聞味道後用舌尖品嚐的各種飲品,觸摸顏料進而繪製出手心與腳丫…一點一滴啟發孩子們的感官體驗!

 

我們使用各種顏色的沙子與物品當作媒介,讓孩子對於情緒表達有了從「抽象到具體化」的認識!

Scared=Navy blue

Sad=Blue
