Cognitive Ability in Baby Class-幼幼班認知能力

From the beginning of school to now, I watched the babies in the kindergarten class all the way, from crying and unwilling to leave their mother to the school, to gradually getting used to the liveliness of teachers and classmates, and establishing a routine life schedule.

In terms of learning, the little ones have also made a lot of progress, learning to place items in specific positions, put away their own lunch boxes and quilts,... and so on. How can we inspire children in the preschool stage for the learning of color recognition, number recognition and point counting? What kind of teaching activities can arouse their interest in learning and let them understand?


In the class, we use large shape teaching aids to guide them to find the same small shape teaching aids, use picture cards and colored wood chips to allow them to say the numbers above and arrange the required number of the above figures, and combine the usual life experience, step by step. Guide, develop children's concept of numbers. Through these methods, they can say and recognize several numbers. Although they may not be in order, they can also classify and match the same number and color, and gradually say more shapes and numbers.


Children are like a blank piece of paper. After the training of these courses, the children give us more feedback over time. Challenge them through different games and competitions, and learning while playing is the most fun.


Let children naturally get close to numbers, love mathematics, and develop the habit of active thinking, and children's little brains will become more and more flexible!

 

從開學到現在,一路看著幼幼班的寶貝們,從哭鬧不願意離開媽媽到學校上課,到漸漸習慣和老師同學的熱鬧,也建立起常規生活作息。在學習方面小寶貝們也進步了不少,學會物品放置特定的位置、自己收好餐盒與棉被、建立時間的概念…等等。對於顏色辨別、數字認知和點數的學習,我們如何啓發在幼幼班階段的孩子呢?什麼樣的教學活動,才能引發學習興趣並讓他們了解呢?


課堂上我們利用大型的形狀教具引導他們找出一樣小的形狀教具、利用圖卡和有顏色的木片讓他們能說出上面的數字並排出上面數字所需要的數量以及結合平時的生活經驗,循序漸進引導,培養孩子們對數字的概念。透過這些方式讓他們能說出,並認得幾個數字,雖然不見得會照著順序,但也能分類及配對出相同的數目與顏色,漸漸地說出更多形狀與數字來。


孩子就像一張白紙,經過這些課程的訓練,日積月累下來孩子給我們的回饋也相對的越多。透過不同遊戲、競賽的方式讓他們挑戰,玩中學習最有趣。上課時也會發現同儕間相互影響的力量真的很大。


讓孩子自然而然親近數字、喜愛數學,並養成主動思考的習慣,孩子們的小腦袋瓜也會越來越靈活唷!
