Self-care Ability-幼幼寶貝上學趣-自理能力

From the onset of starting a kindergarten journey, teachers guide children to develop the ability to be independent through self-care using tools and activities such as games, picture books, routines, and demonstrations.

For most children tasks such as eating by themselves, cleaning their surroundings, it comes quite easily. Even completing challenges such as putting away their toys, books and sleeping bags after it has been used, these skills are adapted and mastered thoroughly! Processes such as demonstrating how things are done, play a key role in this type of developments and as kids learn through attending to these instructions by themselves, they master these skills and teachers can step back and guide further growth through encouragement. It is important for kids to experience the great sense of achievement whilst improving daily!

 

「我想爸爸媽媽!」「我要回家!」「我不要上學!」這些話語彷彿昨日一般,迴盪在校園中。還記得寶貝們剛進入校園,和爸爸媽媽難分難捨的畫面嗎?經過了一個學期,寶貝們已經是小哥哥;小姊姊,可以帶領新加入的小小新鮮人一起探索學習了。


寶貝們剛來到陌生環境時,周圍都是不熟悉的人、事、物。這些因素常讓寶貝們的分離焦慮和思念家人的情感、一觸即發!


老師們除了【安撫】寶貝當下的情緒,最重要的是【陪伴】著寶貝,給予寶貝足夠的【安全感】,並且【正向回應】寶貝的情緒,讓寶貝知道老師一直都在。有了足夠的安全感與信任感,漸漸的~寶貝們願意敞開心胸,開啟與幼兒園的連結,也揭開寶貝們快樂成長的序幕。


老師們從寶貝入園開始、就會透過【遊戲;繪本;示範】來帶領寶貝培養生活自理能力。那些看似容易的生活規矩,例如:放水壺、不同顏色餐碗放至指定區域、書包歸位、自己用餐…,寶貝們從搞不清楚狀況或是不知如何動手?到如今可以獨力完成!甚至連用餐後的餐具基本清潔;桌面整理;午休後的被子整理、寶貝們也能自己完成挑戰、

 

培養孩子自理能力時,老師都會先【親身示範】,再帶著寶貝【進行練習】,然後根據寶貝們的狀況【逐步的放手】。在練習的過程中、老師也會持續的鼓勵寶貝,讓寶貝在提升自理能力的同時,也能有大大的成就感!
