During our lessons we taught our students the story and meaning of thanksgiving. We also made our own turkeys because turkeys are always connected to the celebration of Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, we also brainstormed what we are thankful for and used this as an opportunity to decorate special bookmarks seeing that we love reading so much.

Lastly, in celebration of the tradition of having a feast with those one's near and dear to us, we arranged a DIY Thanksgiving Afternoon Tea. We made fruit jelly and juice to share with one another. Juniper Class worked so well together, with some of the kids washing the fruits, and the others cutting it into small pieces. We were so happy that we could make this together and share our love to our dearest friends and teachers.

〝You put your right wing in. You put your right wing out…….〞音樂響起，寶貝們紛紛說：「感恩節要到了。」在11月的慶生會我們藉由這首Turkey Honkey Pokey的歌曲，讓寶貝們一同唱跳並且帶入感恩節文化主題的學習動機，先透過音樂讓寶貝們認識Turkey-火雞，藉由模仿火雞的動作，展現出每位寶貝想像的翅膀。

「咦？火雞跟感恩節有什麼關係呢？」滿滿的好奇在寶貝們的腦海中，於是老師運用繪本故事、感恩節影片和節慶文化的圖片，帶領寶貝們認識感恩節的由來與意義，結束之後，寶貝們製作一隻屬於自己的火雞，讓教室增添感恩節的氛圍。感恩節最大的重點是感恩惜福，於是大家一起腦力激盪，想想看我們可以感謝什麼呢？寶貝們熱絡的分享著，將想感謝的話語寫進紙卡中，創作出獨一無二感恩書籤，透過轉送書籤的方式將愛與感謝分享出去。

緊接著來到感恩餐會的活動囉！這次感恩餐會主軸是「親手作，樂分享」，於是我們帶領寶貝們一同製作水果果凍和果汁，讓寶貝們將自己親手製作的點心，分享給想感謝的同學和老師，寶貝們分工合作，有的寶貝幫忙洗水果，有的寶貝忙著切水果，一同完成水果果凍和鮮榨果汁，每位寶貝超級開心，急著和同學們分享自己親手製作的點心，這一刻非常值得紀念，是寶貝們同心協力完成一件事情換來的甜美果實，寶貝們將這甜美的果實分享給大家，感謝著每一位伴隨他們成長的人、事、物。

透過多元文化的主題活動，寶貝們從認識火雞開展想像力，並且學習感恩節文化和由來；從手作書籤和親手作樂分享的感恩節餐會，讓寶貝透過實際的分享傳遞感恩與關懷，希望藉由感恩節的主題活動，將感恩的種子播種於寶貝的心中。
