This is exactly what we focused on this week; Wagor Lai Cuo’s School Bus Safety Drill. During this activity, our students not only learnt how to generally sit and behave when riding on the school bus but learnt the steps one should follow if there is an accident. They were quite surprised learning that one could exit through the back of the school bus and even more excited pressing the horn to call for help. Teaching students these basic guidelines and steps, not only keeps them safe, but contributes to lifelong learning.

每位孩子都會有乘坐娃娃車或搭乘遊覽車的機會，運輸工具可以搭載我們出遊，安全守則與自我保護能力也是每個人必修的課題。無論是在行駛或是靜止狀態，安全絕對是第一考量，葳格賴厝校每學期安排幼童車逃生演練在本周完成，老師們教導孩子搭乘娃娃車應注意的事項，如：上下車排隊、不推擠；頭手不可伸出窗外，車輛未停妥前不站起來，並且手要抓緊前方的把手…等等；透過宣導影片及實地進行幼童專用車逃生演練訓練，若不小心自己被遺留在車上該怎麼辦呢？大中班有了先前的學習經驗，異口同聲地說～拍窗戶、大聲喊救命或爬到駕駛座按喇叭，引發他人注意；現場請每一位小朋友演練，增強孩子的記憶；同時也介紹安全門和使用方法。藉此演練讓孩子們對逃生都有基本自我保護常識，我們安心搭車，快樂上學！
